Homestay with guardianship for girls in Holland Village.

CindyHi. My name is Cindy and I run Snow White Homestay for girls, which is close to many learning institutions near the Holland Village area in Singapore.

It can be quite scary for a young girl living in a new country away from home. I will try my best to make your stay in S’pore as pleasant as possible.  In fact, I will familiarize you with what to expect such as local customs and how to go about on our little island safely even before you arrive! And I will make sure you don’t feel home sick.

(WE ARE FULL. NO VACANCIES ARE AVAILABLE NOW.)

My homestay is in Holland Village. It’s a place where you will find many expatriates on the streets. If you go to the Holland Village taxi stand and look right across the road, you will see an entrance to a pathway that says, Holland Parkview.

I stay in the red brick block right at the end of the pathway, which faces the ACS International School field (see picture below). It’s right behind, tucked away from the noisy road and the bustling village. This is also your homestay if you decide to stay with me.

This is also one of the most convenient and safest places in Singapore. It is only a 10-minute bus ride to Orchard Road, the city, National University of Singapore (NUS) and a 5-minute walk to 3 train stations: Commonwealth Station, Bouna Vista Station and Holland Village Station. Actually, the Holland Village Station is only 150 steps away from my home – just a minute’s walk. We are surrounded by universities, polytechnics, research centres,  embassies, hospitals, churches, jogging tracks and the Botanic Gardens. So, it is certainly a very interesting place to see and learn many things. There are frequent police patrols around the estate, so it is a very safe place. Also, there are security cameras both inside and outside the lifts to my apartment.

In Holland V itself, you will find a complete range of amenities: banks,  24-hour supermarket, coffee shops, 24-hour clinic, fast food outlets, money changer, postal services, swimming pools, cafes, hawker centres, pharmacies, photo developing and arts & crafts shops and even trendy eateries.  And it is only a 30-minute taxi ride to Changi Airport.

INSIDE YOUR ROOM

This is how your room looks like in the evening. It is air conditioned and cosy.  It is very bright in the day. The wardrobe faces the bed, which is hidden in the picture.

OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW

The view from your bedroom window faces the ACS International School, which can be seen in the background. It’s usually quiet during weekends and in the evenings.

There is no better place for a safe, study-conducive and quality homestay with a personal touch.
