“I have stayed with aunt Cindy and uncle Patrick in Snow White Homestay for two years. These two years are my best two years living in Singapore. The food, the people, the roommates, the comfortable room and …everything… Everything was good, especially the food. Till now, I still miss uncle Patrick’s food. His cooking is amazing. If you are staying in this homestay, I guarantee that you will want his pasta every day!!!
It is extremely important to mention a special benefit of staying in this homestay. Aunt Cindy is a very patient and kind English tutor. She has always helped me whenever I asked her for help. Even now that I am home in Taiwan (waiting to enter my dream university next year), I still email her very often, because she is just like my second mother. She did not only helped me in my English, but also other life’s stuff. She treated me like her daughter too, whenever I have something to say or I needed someone to talk to…she was always there for me…listening to what I have to say and what I have been through. She always try to understand me…No only that, she had also given me some good advice too.
Moreover, uncle Patrick is also a great guardian. He is good at a lot of things. He knows a lot. Although we didn’t talk as often as aunt Cindy and I, because I am girl. But, he gives people some important information and knowledge from time to time. He is a business consultant and some kind of a philosopher. As an IB student, I have asked a lot of help from him to finish some of my projects. He never says “no” to me although he is always busy. Till now, I still feel touched when I think about all he has done for me… squeezing time for me to help my work….cooking special food just for me….
Anyway, this homestay is amazing…. especially the people. I believe “people” whom you stay with is the most important factor that you have to consider when you choose your homestay. To be honest, they have never asked me to write a testimonial for them. In fact, I am the one who wanted to write one for them myself. Coz I want everyone to know that this homestay is the best choice for students like us!!!! We all deserve to have a good homestay. I HAVE TO SAY A GOOD HOMESTAY MEANS A LOT TO YOUR STUDY AND LIFE IN SINGAPORE!”
